I have been running Waxedsmooth for 16 years now and I cannot believe where that time has gone! My daughter was a tiny baby when I decided I wanted to start my own business in beauty. I had studied to become a beautician at South Devon College when I was about 18 yrs but then went onto do other things and not beauty at that time.
I wanted to start a business that no one else was offering; I wanted to be different. It was a gamble, and I knew this. It was scary at the beginning for so many different reasons, but I believed in what I was doing, and here I am, standing stronger and taller than ever 16 years later! I can hand on heart say every single day that I absolutely love my job with a passion. I give it my all, and to top all of that, I can also say hand on heart that I have the best clients anyone could ever wish for.
My business is now in a position where I am expanding my specialised services in other areas and have been for quite some time now. So here's to another 16 years of loving my business and my clients even more.
